Dear Heidi, and the family, Happy 4th of July! It is great to see how normal life looks for all of you these days! Praise God:)
Here in Michigan we are praying for an eleven year old heart transplant patient, Brittney, whose appendix ruptured and she is now fighting a low iron count. She is the first patient in U of M's heart transplant history to have this situation. We are asking for prayers that her iron levels go up to avoid a blood transfusion. She needs to still have surgery to get her appendix out, but they are trying to wait as long as possible, as her heart is still pretty new to her. She got it right before Christmas--a truly great gift from God!
It is wonderful to see the great progress of your family. Levi is growing by leaps and bounds, as are Isaac, Abigal, along with Ethan.
May God continue to bless the Bohrer family, Lisa Stechschulte Owosso, Michigan
